It removed all the paint from the GT, maybe not powder? 2008 Power series came off very easy
Thanks for all your help. Not sure who's doing the powdering yet but after seeing Dans work I'd be stupid to go anywhere else.
Hi all. Can someone tell me the easiest, cheapest and best ways to strip a frame, forks, bars and seat post ready for re powdering please? Is there anything I need to do to them afterwards before sending for powdering? Thanks for your time

Thanks for your timetbh who ever you use should be able to strip the old paint for you, saves you £15 to £20on strippers that may not work
I use an oxy/acetelene gas axe and a wire brush
You need permatex gasket removerIf your sending it to dan , he will do all the prep for you
is permatex ok to use on an ally frame?
