FBM Night Train, 98% done
« on: September 12, 2010, 03:19 PM »
I'm off too centreparcs soon and wanted a cheap project bike. JJ answered my call with a £60 F&F deal. The only other thing I have bought to finish this was the wheels from a member at my race club. All the other bits have been sourced from my shed and cupboard of bits.

Breakdown of parts
Frame - FBM Night Train
Forks - S&M Pitchforks
Headset - FSA PIG
Bars - Fit Sky High (Rattlecan Red)
Brake - Hombre, Tech 77, Odyssey Slic
Seat - Shadow Slim, Odyssey Intac post, Wethepeople clamp (Ovenprided)
Cranks- Battered Primo Powerbites, Odyssesy plastic pedals, Sprocket is too big, Looking for a 43t and something abit more black
Wheels - Unknown rear sealed bolt through hub with BFR rim, GT sealed front hub with a 1.5 sunrim, Tyres Primo V monster which are at least 10-15 years old
Stem - Either a Kink or Hoffman from a complete
Grips - Fit (Free with an order from The Source) Bar ends - Colony
Seems to have come together quite well I think.

Well been getting bits together for awile now, Still away to go. But pulled the bits out from under the bed and thought Id give myself a Kick up the Ass to get this done. Aiming for a Mike Tag tribute/replica. Got an idea of parts from John Lee at FBM. Get well soon John.

Looked naked without tyres so squeezed some onto the Hula Hoops.

Outdoor pics.

Not happy with the seat guts, Got another Rod somewhere will see if they are different.

Ive got a vinyl seat, But think I prefer the look of this one.
Got a set of FBM bars as well to go on, They have been cut down though, Thinking about getting them lengthened.
