Stompin' Stu DVD
« on: September 11, 2010, 09:20 AM »
I finally got round to buying the Stompin Stu DVD - made by the guys behind Joe Kid... anyone else seen it? It's awesome - very inspirational...
if you get the chance, check out the extras...
Linn Kastan giving the history of the Redline Flight crank, amd Stu showing his old school frame collection in his loft - flippin brilliant.
oh, and footage of Stu in 2008 totally ruling the 50 to 55 cruiser class. Yeah!

Wonder who they will do next?

Simply awsome watch !

Amazing that he fought back from his illness and then kicked ass in the nationals, what a top bloke! Never knew about Greg Hill and his sister either !

what surprised me most was what a nice guy stu is, he always seemed quite sturn and misserable in photos bitd, but he's actually a top bloke...

i do get peoples personalities wrong sometimes and jump to conclusions when i dont know them....

We met Stu back in1981, he was such a lovely bloke, we did wonder why a full grown man was riding BMX though, funny how things look when your 15 :)

Top night viewing that Dave  :4_17_5:

Got them all myself , too  :4_17_5:

As for who'll they do next

I think they have got to do one on Haro,, he was the originator of Freestyle and made  some of the best and innovative components in the early days :4_17_5:

He's a must in my book

Watched the 85 sreensport pro series this morning, the one where Jamie Vince wins the skoda. Cracking watch.

Must admit if I was the UK pros, I would have been pi$$ed at Chanady and Sewell coming over to race.

Good call on Bob Haro. Would be a great watch. :daumenhoch:
