Can anyone fill-in the blanks?

Which tracks/clubs have race days that we could crash?

Bradford - Yes Saturday morning
Hartlepool - No
Preston
Manchester
Coppull
Crewe
Lytham
Fearnville - No but could possibly organise
Yeadon - No but could possibly organise
Heywood

John, Lytham and Manchester usually have some club races but I don't think many clubs have posted details of their winter races so far.
Rotherham and Harworth are both in the north and could be included; I'm sure they usually have club races. Chesterfield and Warsop are not much further south either.

I'm up for racing - stick my name on t' list

I think if we give the (first unoffical Winter OS) race at Preston a decent push, and encourage plenty of riders new and old it'll carry some momentum for the rest of the winter series. Plus, if there a plenty of us there we can probably agree on which other race to include in the series.

Moley - get a riders list started for Preston and we'll see if we can get enough riders for quarters!

Coppull are having a winter series, dates are as follows ( subject to change)
10th Oct
14th Nov
12th Dec
16th jan
13th Feb
13th March
No problem with running an Old school class if there is enough riders, as my misses does the sheets. Trophies for riders who complete either 4 or 5 rounds (not sure)
Registration strictly 10am to 11am

Bradford's club races won't usually be on a Sunday; however they said that they would do one on a Sunday if that suited most of the Old Skoolers. The preference was for before Christmas, and we need to suggest a date.
Any thoughts?

I've got loads on that weekend so not me. Preston on the 17th is looking good though

I might be up for this. Moley and were possibly doing gates on this weekend but this would be better.

Why don't you start a seperate thread with a riders list and see who's up for it?

It would have to fall outside the Winter series though as the 'offical unofficial' opener is Preston on the 17th.

I'd sooner just have a get together at a track like at heywood a couple of sundays ago

Way more riding gets done, beats standing around all day in the cold for 4 laps of a track!

Thats just my 2p's worth...

right lads Preston the 17 is the first offical old school race meet. But whos up for a warm up this sunday at coppul. dont be shy get your names down.

James its a club meet so see Diane on registration, ifs theres only 2 of you she will let you have your own class or go 16+

I suggest Coppull on 12th December (as the 2nd or 3rd round)!

If a few peeps think this is a good idea we can get Moley to start an (un)offical riders list.

Don't worry about that Daz - I've heard plot of a one-off winter race at Hartlepool. That ought to give a little back to you NE warriors!

I just noticed that there is a club race on 14th November too - would peeps prefer that? I'd be up for either.
