and correct me if i'm wrong, but don't all complete bikes normally come with at least the brakes and stem fitted?  normall just have to fit the front wheel and straighten the bars??   ???

I'm not sure on this one, I have seen a few Nos 88 Masters which were in bits, so I don't know if someone collected al the bits or they came like that

yeah! imagine going back to the box every other week or so for 24 years to put a bit of air in the tyres.... :idiot2:

i bought one of the nos sports from alans back in 99. nothing was built up on that

I also liked the air in the tire comment!  I actually sold him the wheels (NOS) a few years back when this bike first surfaced.  My son is three and it was before he was born (timeline).   The story he told me is that the wheels were used for a warranty on another Haro and since the bike was without the wheels they didn't sell it.  I guess this guy ran a bike shop or something.  Guess that makes the air story, just that a story!  No way worth the asking price IMO.  Maybe a NOS '85 Master!!
