Deffo needs the seat post changing, how the hell are you going to do any seat grab tricks and endos?

I'd agree with the seatpost though mate, needs changing 
Were the chromers reasonable, I need a few bits done shortly.

The chroming cost me £240 + vat, that was for the frame, forks, bars, doughnut and bolts for the stem.

New seatposts on their way 
Straight and layback......I'll decide which later once I've tried them both

beauty! the chrome is top.....quality job!  trickstars were always my fave brom bitd.and totally unafordable aswell  now i've got 1 i've split ready for a resto.and 1 og chrome build.love em

Managed to get chance to swap out the seatpost tonight for a straight one.
Looks much better now.



Looking forward to the weekend now. Skatepark is calling me, skid lid at the ready!

I went down the new school route a few years back, I really struggled
with it so I got rid. Maybe today's bikes are different?
The Hutch feels so nice to ride I'm sticking with it. (I can always restore it again)
I don't ride much, so can't really justify even  more spending..

On the other hand....
If I was to buy a new bike, what would you recommend for around £500
Bearing in mind I'm  40 yrs old..... going on 20!  (not that that should make a difference)
I'd need 2 brakes though. for all those old school moves.

For around £500 i'd buy a complete, rad shop have a good selection...

Loads to choose from, i'd recommend sunday, wethepeople, fit... you cant go far wrong with £500 to spend

You'll be hard pushed to find summat with a front brake, lugged forks are available though, Stodgy might have some lugged uk forks left....
