I think someone has more money than sense or thinks they are buying the alloy ones here 

But even for alloy ones that's crazy money 

Only good for a grand prix or M1 and you could buy the whole fookin bike for not much more 

Think the seller will be one happy bunny though

When I was asking around at MK , what Pro class are worth these days , the general consensus  i got was around £200 for very tidy


So those I've just sold WITH new re issue yellow label comps for £155 posted (first class recorded post £12)

I paid £55 for my first alloy set 2 1/2 years ago - they were mint and included original red/blue reverseable rim tape ! 

Can't ever remember paying out mega bucks for any of my sets 

Even that NOS pair of alloy pro-class rims I got at MK was only £60 

They do seem to fetch decent money on ebay though - even the steel ones ! 

Maybe I should cash in on all my sets and go on holiday

Alloy are largely more desirable , Mr dubber's price was very fair  . I think maybe as said above ^^ the auction winner was dazzled by "Pro Class" perhaps .
