Woo hoo! I'm setting off for Crewe in a few minutes. I'm gonna be stopping by the Dungeon for some 'special stuff' on the way, so should be at Crewe by lunchtime if I get cleaned up quickly  :)

Thanks to the Crewe peeps for a top day - good work with the weather. Some amazing riding today - the Bloomfield/Batey final was top notch action.

In Old School; Congrats to Richie for winning. Also, top marks to the Scots for making the long journey down and riding with crippling hangovers.

Nada, the high standard of the pros was continued in the Trophy race with the same result; Bloomfield, Batey, Strickland I think. Jaw-droppingly fast, seemed a tad faster than the main race

Yeah, it was a great weekend, I really enjoyed the whole thing especially watching the high jump competition with a few beers. It was a very long day today with all the extended breaks.

Kudos to the Scots for all the travelling! Nada - I've got your medal safe.

Glad you boys enjoyed it.

CGR always welcomes the old school.

Now where are those pictures of the trophies!

A wee note just to say thanx for the grt weekend in Crewe. Sat was great , Sat night was a blur. On Sunday the racing was great but my head was a bit tender.

Well done Richie for the win and the 2 Kennys for 2nd and third .

And a shout the the rest of the OS crew who were all on top form.

Better get back to work  ;)

Oh there is no footage from me as been deleted

Here's some evidence:

Shanaze wanted her picture taking with the Old Skoolers. We were reluctant as we're a shy, retiring bunch, but we said okay:

excellent weekend, top weather as well - it pissed down at home all weekend so was good to be away - didnt get home till 12 last night 50 mph limited in the Groove Truck then unloading drive home from the warehouse etc...

they work bloody hard for their money in that thing, one kid had me pumping up his tyre 5 times yesterday...

Ill defo race the OS next year, gutted i couldnt race this year but i would have killed myself i was feeling so shite... getting senisible in my old age, good to see a reasonable turn out from the OS - thought there would've been more Northern contingent though, well done for the Scots for making the trip

Big Props to Dex and the rest fo the CGR!  Till Next year!

Not seen any yet Daz.

The Saturday was really good as well, as the novice racing was done really well with top commentary and quite a few watching. Hopefully the buzz will help keep a lot of them interested. Watching the pump races (including clearing the pro section  ) and high jump comp with a few tinnies in the evening sunshine was mint  :daumenhoch:
