Old School Haro Question?
« on: August 25, 2010, 07:13 PM »
Hi

Old School Haro Question?

What forks would fit on an 84 Sport?
Are all 80s Haro forks inter-changeable eg: would 88 RS3 forks fit?
What other 80s forks would fit, for example, what model Tange or Tioga? Something that wont break the bank, as I expect 84 Sport forks would be expensive.

Thanks in advance. :daumenhoch:

Not sure Bud-would have thought the forks on a sport are the same as masters upto mid school even later 1 inch threads-PM Swivel,Jay,Phippsio though to double check  :coolsmiley:
Wouldn't put race forks on one though try and get some haro freestyler copies or get some that need a resto/TLC if you are on a budget  ;)

Might go for Tioga or Tange Fork, as LG would be out of budget.

Can anyone tell me what type would fit.

Neil, not totally sure what you are doing with that bike, if your riding it ?, i'd think about just leaving the pitchforks on as they really feel nice on the sport, however if your wanting to have its original look, 84-86 forks can go for reasonable prices on the bay, you could probably sell the pitch forks and not have to add much more dosh to buy some haro forks if your lucky, i've seen a few sets of  haro forks go for the £60 mark lately.

Want to try and keep bike era correct, and want an all Old school look.

Just want some cheap forks to tie me over until I source some Haro Forks.

I may keep the pitchforks but don't want anoraks saying there the wrong date for bike. :(
