Curtis Builds
« on: August 22, 2010, 06:35 PM »

Couple of Curtis builds on the go. This is the Expert so far. Bought it with a crimped rear brake bridge. Got in touch with Curtis and they put a new one on for me, and were great.

Just got it back and I just need to get the bridge drilled then its off to the chromers. Got most of the bits in blue ano, including pads and decals on the way from firebird and del.

This is my Freestyler. Thanks to Mani for the beautiful frame and forks already powdered with new decals. Plan was to replicate the faze 7 build for the bmx bi weekly review but personal preference/cash/impatience are getting in the way. Just waiting for black mx1000's, black sx's, elina flyte tech, and white pad set in the post.

Will re-chrome a takagi crank at some point but have built it with this which is really meant for my expert for now. Main dilemma is still the bars, but I think these EZ II's look pretty good.

Nice one, :4_17_5:I am now starting my first resto project, my original 84 Curtis Pro, looking at them with tuff's on, I may go that way as the price of Arayas etc wheels in A1 condition are through the roof !!!!!!!

I will have to learn how to get some pics up,

Look forward to seeing the end product.
