 :(  hi all.does anyone know the best way to get black brake pad marks of a white skyway rim.i was gonna try thr ole sand paper method.but dont want to kill them.any info or tips would be much appreciated .lee

I've always used a Stanley blade on an angle and it's never failed me yet  ;)

very fine sand paper. i did it to mine works a treat and doesnt damage them :daumenhoch:

jif & bleach followed by using different grades of wet & dry cloth backed paper ( yellow packs from Halfords ) to hit the stubborn bits worked for me  :daumenhoch:

 :) just thought i would post the pics before and after of the dreaded black brake rub on tuffs removal,ended up using the edge of a nice new stanley blade(thanks to the person who recommed this  :4_17_5:) then usd some wet and dry(thanks again to the other person for this tip :4_17_5:)

 :)  very satisfying..was.nt me who blacked them.it was one of my diffy pals.so when i see them i thought they need to be saved lol..ordered myself some white pads.so they should be ok for a while.untill they visit the rom skatepark for a oldskool reunion im hopefully sorting Yumyum
