Pk Ripper with lower tube brake cable routing question
«

Can someone please help me find out what model of Ripper this is please.
I dont have a pic but its a second generation Ripper (nonlooptail),with a rear brake on the BOTTOM of the rear triangle,stamped LG's and the top tube is 19.5" long.
The thing that makes it look a bit different to me is that the brake cable is routed along the lower tube(obviously as the brake is on the lower part of the rear triangle).
It looks like Bodumas's Xl pro in the pics section.
Sorry about lack of pic.

if it's the 19.5" model its the regular one. not the xl, same as mine
does it have an oversized headtube, or threaded (1") ?
sounds like an early 90's one to me. nice ride

Headtube looks normal size to me.I cant tell about the threading but the LGs are the later stamp(the shield type stamp that they still have today).
My mate owns the bike but isnt sure what it is or how common(or not
)

they arent ten a penny, but there are a few about
they get rarer as they get newer as newschool riders want fatter tubes
i like them myself. i would like one like your mates, as that sounds like it has AD lugs instead of the useless V brake mounts mine has

I know i should know what chain stays are
but i dont.Do you mean the lower rear triangle arms? If so,then bent.

that's a Bulldog brake mount. to give you some idea on what it's worth a mate of mine has had his up for sale for £250 for a while, but it's not in as good niuck at that and the bulldog washer has been drilled out by some mong.
