got this frame and forks, it has a very small bb about 1.5 inch top tube is about 19 inch , it accordingly belong to an ex bmx champion , the frame has stickers on "the no.1 girls uk bmx racing team" and "femme equipe" numbered under the bb serial no. "rg53lg" had shimano dx crank set on which thats what i got it for so has been a decnt thing in its day, the person thought it was vincent but not sure

if that number on the bb is a postcode,thats kingfisher drive in Woodley,near Reading.I'm only a few miles from there,don't recall anyone well known from that neck of the woods.

i never thought of that yes your right it came from round there it never crossed my mind a post code security mark   :uglystupid2:, i think the bike was used back in the day rather than any time recent everything on it was early 80's, the wheels i have took off it are 1 3/8 inch ukai rims with aluminium mavic hubs and mitsuboshi silver star competition green,silver and white label comp3's tyres on in nice nick not sure whether to use them on my upcoming pk ripp build they just seem a bit narrow

I used to race this area bitd ,the only female I can think of from around here is Sarah Jane Nichols,but she lived near Tadley.

cheers hutchman, is this frame classed as a mini with having such a small bb

these were the wheels off it everything was period on it, which are in really decent nick just need a cleanup

could be an expert,is the bb threaded? What does the script on the hubs say,they look very unusual.

yes its threaded inside the bb on the bearing itself it says kajita 1.37 x 24tl sealed bearing

the hubs have "Mavic" embossed into them nothing else they look good quality the wheels are extremely lightweight

it's not the mini vincent as that only had 16" wheels

not sure what it is but if you decide to move it on can i have first dib dobs ;)

Seller's listing was not the best description  :daumenhoch:
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)

Its not a Rebel, it looks similar around the rear drop outs but the forks are defo wrong. However, Pro Race Rebels have flat brake bridges not tubular.
