I just found this photo in a web story about Big Island. Taken at one of the early 90s Back yard Jams on the Vert ramp.

Me too, went to three of them - always funny.  Some daft stuff went down, mostly with mad Mick(aka mr pants) he pissed over Dan Gals bike in the afternoon comp- Dan werent to happy bout that.  Later that evening Mick dance naked over the fire and burned his nuts, hahaha.  Mick  used to get up to al sorts of daft stuff, always had me in stitches

A few hours after I posted that photo on facebook, Ocoboc tagged himself on it. He is "facebook friends" with Fids, who I did tag. Mike now lives in Canada and has quite a few riders as fb friends. He doesnt have BMX listed in his interested so I dont think he's riding any more. I used to love his one footed, rocket can can icepick grinds ..... on VERT!

Maybe age is getting the better of me. They might not have been can can, but Im sure he at leaset did one footed rocket ice grinds. Im sure he did them on his ramp and on the backyard vert ramp. Check out his section in the S&M vid, or your backyard boxset! (you might even be able to filter bmxmbd for rideres and find loads of his stuff*)

On location, 1:20 into his section, he does one at Lea (not cancan, just one foot)
BMX Inferno, 1:25 into his section, one foot SWITCH FOOTED ice grind at his ramp. RAAAD!

Just had a look at the inferno clips. I forgot how good they all were, its got me fired up and wanting to ride, haha.  Love Timmy Balls section, S&M were pretty much all that was good about BMX in the 90s (along with Standard  - but they were more of a posh mans BMX or something, s&m was raw)

it was B O L O X..  with an X!!  so funny.  was staying in harry and al blake's overcrowded flat when john dye, stu king, dave beveridge and others came running in in stitches having just done it.

i think the conversation was
"what shall we spray?"
"bollocks"
"yeah, with an X!"

the next morning there was a BOLOX shaped fresh coat of green paint on the ramp and stu dawkins holding a pot of paint looking peed off.
