DB bars or not DB bars?
« on: July 27, 2010, 04:50 PM »
hi folks - picked these up,

they seem nice quality, unsure if they are DB (as per the sticker)?

Bar length is 26 inch, with a 7 inch raise.

any help would be great. Thank you  :daumenhoch:

I wonder if that's a repro decal. They don't look DB to me, most models came with Koizumi bars (stamped DIAMOND BACK CHROMOLY), apart from the Viper which were steel, unbranded (same size as Medium Koizumi) and manufacured by Akisu until 1984 when they replicated the Medium oversize and stamped.

If you can remove the stem to reveal the knurling I'll confirm. :daumenhoch:

thanks fella, will do.

I removed the stem and grips today and under one grip is a little hole, must have something to do with the chroming process. It is original as bars are mint, not sure if that helps?

good 'wed site' by the way ..  :daumenhoch:
