Does anyone have any old pics of a Torker Freestylist?  Pics of factory rider (Aparijo?), magazine test, etc.....  Looking for some inspiration for the future

Doing a little UK tribute at Rockford this year.  Vintage freestyle isn't only about US builds/riders  :daumenhoch:

Thank you!

Hi TTT.    Welcome over. Hope you enjoy being here. There's  loads of quality Uk bikes, but don't dare mention the DP firebird freestyler!.  ;D

Thanks for the holla fellas.

I'm a big fan of early UK freestylers, so looking forward to seeing more of them here.

Any Torker pics?

Hi and welcome to Rad

A few Torkers, including the Freestylist -

http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php'topic=302.0

Loads more UK bikes in the museum -

NB - I have been meaning to ask in technical - is Rulers Faze 7 a bike built by the shop that was in London and Melbourne?

UK riders were Julian Parkinson and Andy Minshall. Get the "Freestyle BMX" Dvd/video of the Bristol bike show and the guys do a demo on there i believe.

This pic is from 84 when Terry and myself were the first uk Torker trick team. We did over a thousand shows up and down the country and abroad .We also had a lot to do with the design of the freestylist but had both moved on to ride for GT and Haro before we had chance to ride the freestylist.

This pic is when I tested the Torker for a magazine but rode for I rode for GT then. there will be some good pics of the freestylist in this issue but I dont have it as it was pm d to me from another rad member (Vinoah). A lot of our ideas went into the frame and the bars and Terry still has our original drawings . Terrry went on to design Space bars and a lot more and I went on open a few bars as a nightclub owner lol. I am now back into bmx in a big way and will be at bones tomorrow if anybody is up for it. :daumenhoch:
cool  :daumenhoch:

Read all of that, classic  :LolLolLolLol:
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'
