Did AME make brown grips (tri or round's) in the early 80's ???

or is it a mid/new school thing for the SE peep's

quite fancy a set on my quad as a change from the baby blue ;)

Thanks Glen for your input,
i am aware of the font differences, and accept that the only ones in brown i have seen/can get are the square font.
just asking the the question about colour date correctness really.
