Grrrrr everything seems to be welded at the mo lol

Ok i have a Suntour sprocket on a sun shine hub and i can t get the frikkin sprocket nut off.
Just to make sure in not turning the incorrect way im going clockwise, surely you can remove this??? just asking never had sun shine hubs before.

Tried lefty loosey and then i thought id try righty tighty and guess what...........................................................................still wont budgie wudgie grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i even give it a little heat and broke a bloody sprocket tooth in the process!!!! now i have the arse need this hub to finish my build.

Any Ideas???

clamp the free wheel in the vice and use the wheel as your lever.  If you tighten it enough you free wheel wont rotate and eh voila!!! you should be there if that fails try your LBS (local Bike Shop) they will have a trick or two :daumenhoch:

Thats what i done to start with and the spokes started to bend the rim soooo i stopped.
Yeah can run it done my local bike rip off merchants lol.

OOOHH lah angle grinder time then I reckon on that but take your time not to damage the hub and wear some goggles as the bearings can come out at some pace.  give it a good soak in 3 in 1 oil or WD40 while doing it to keep the temperature down :daumenhoch:

get the toothy woothy bit off, inside there'll be a couple of dinty winty's where the pawly wallie or ratchety cratchety bit fits , use something that fits the dint winty you should be able to loosen it with a good shocky woky , i don't mean show it the twig and berries either, :LolLolLolLol: , load of wd40 and a heavy hammer bammer , anti clock wise with the freewheel  facy wacying you  , if it don't budgie wudgie after that then your fooktie wookty  :LolLolLolLol:
