Bought a pair of Proclass wheels recently as below . But they had some really bad flats and damage 2 sides of rims.

Got me thinking of ways 2 remedy this  :-\ Got my brain round it and made some tools up  ;) A press 4 straightening the flats in the rims and an anvil 4 sorting out the deformed and bulging sidewalls.

this is the press fitted in the vice in action  ;D

The anvil

And with rim in situ during hammering session  :D

All worked well cos when I wanted 2 show Simon (Cupid Stunt) the results I could barely make out where I had repaired them  8)

Finished these yesterday all trued up  :D Used the old spokes just cleaned them up , new Nips , polished rims after hours of flatting  :tickedoff:  and cleaned up the hubs. Lovely Jubbly  :smitten:

The amount of times I needed one of those little anvils   :-\

Funny enough my current pro class survivors are under going the same treatment  :daumenhoch:

Truly the king of the hammer

well done mate

I did try this with just a hammer (rubber) and it got a 24" rim I damaged at Cheddar pretty true, but not as parfait as that!

U gonna be offering this service at MK? or at least renting out your anvil/press combo?!
