Where to get a cheap coloured background for a numberplate?

I'm talking about sticky thin plastic to cut out and stick on, not the whole clip in things like THE use.

Cheers John, excellent suggestion and I have pm'd Del. 

Just in case Del doesn't pick up the pm, I'm after a piece of yellow and a piece of red, ideally 8" x 5" but smaller would do the job.

local screen printers, got a piece big enough to cover plate other day and as it was off cut got it for free

Get down to your local B&Q etc. They normally sell something called Fablon in small rolls about 18" wide in different colours which is self adhesive
