which new school brakes work well on the front

i know the fly suelo works as its made for the front

ive been told proper brakes when on the front the cable tends to rub on the arm

so what front specific brakes are there?

my tektro looks crap compared to the rest of the bike

it's all in the set up Kev, Hombre's works fine but i always liked my EVO II best

i don't sign up to this bull about a £60 caliper working any better than a £25 one....as long as it's set up correctly they should work as good as eachother. Pad choice helps as well

set up isnt a problem as my tektro works spot on with a set of clear pads, it just looks shite compared to the rest of the bike

ive got a proper rear and did want matching brakes but thats now out due to proper brakes rubbing on the front

not keen on the evo brake, looks bulky to me like my old revenge sealed bearing front brake, i like slim looking brakes

i know what u saying about £60 brakes but ill be buying 2nd hand hopefully so i should get a £60 brake for £30 max

cheers betty, i know they work well as i used to have one till i decided not to run a front brake and sold it to a mate

im keeping a eye out for one

EVO II or the Suelo.

Both awesome.

Oh, and a well set up Hombre is good too and much cheaper.

Diatech - great price, great brake. Don't go for clear pads on the front if you've got a chrome rim - it's TOO sharp! Unless that's what you're after.
Absolutely NO need to be spending Â£60 on a front brake - these work brilliantly. I'm sure I got my pair from the Radbmx shop.....
