Ok we've all seen the J.T dyeing grip thread  in Tech and resto

Last year I tried a set of NOS Oakley .5's in yellow ,,,,, fooking no chance , ruined and gutted  :crazy2:

just got myself another set of grips that needs the J.T treatment

but I know if I ask him to do 'em for me ,   he'll just give me a load of witty pm's  :yahoo_silent:

Who else has had good results , and did you use Rit or dylon ,gimme the Colonel's recipe , mi dearies ;)  :-*

Mine ended up like half done ,,,mucky yellow

cant they be bunged in again

I tried them for about 3 to 4 hours for a couple nights, heat whacked up bubbling away like fook, only in a  roasting tin though

Would it make a difference if I got a big ol' pan jobby  ???

I'm not bothered about the Oakley's , I've written them off  ;D £50 down the pan

It's just I can't/ don't want to mess up these other grips , I 've just got ,,,,they are the last piece to my latest build  :-\

Yeah get them painted. Someone did some Tuffs a while ago and they looked a treat. Its the future  :daumenhoch:

I have a Bassett project on the go and instead of using decals I painting the rainbow stripes on.  :coolsmiley:
