Right cheers matt, never even seen these on research forums on redline stuff, so wonder why they went to semi and full pinch then, looked nicer in non pinch style?

yes mate pretty rare, Ive had a few sets, but just got one set left now

check condition though and make sure they all bolt up nicely as no pinch to tighten them up

because they can wear on spindle and become loose,  the pinch provides a tighter fit

Take a look at Lee Radman's Loopy Quad and you find a very nice set of Pinchless flights on that

Just one of the many reasons I voted it bike of the month a little while back  :daumenhoch:

Tony Brennan had them on his Redline back in 1981  :smitten:, dream cranks and very rare.  They went to pinch bolts through progression and development of the cranks.  Surprised you have never heard of them as they are like the holy grail for a lot of '80, '81 & '82 builds  :daumenhoch:.

aye never seen em before until today, thinking they would look a bit tasty on me floval loop build, although they are a bit too pricey, may have to stick to some single pinch red's or some gen 3 profiles?

they are fairly rare, but do come up on eBay every couple of months, keep looking and you'll get a pair soonish if ya want some:4_17_5:

reckon they arent as strong as single or double pinch, but mine wont ever be getting tested to distruction :)

i'm lucky enough to have 2 pairs, and dont plan to ever sell them  :LolLolLolLol:

i'd guess prices for them are about £400-£550 for a good pair by the time they're delivered.

think they look great on late 70's and early 80's bikes  :smitten:

on a seperate note, that last seller is a bit of a scumbag, buys bikes to split and make profit, he bought the complete proline they were on a couple of weeks ago.

they were prone to working loose and wearing the threads out so redline offered to recall
them and add the pinchbolt and re-chrome them.not for free either according bmxa so i
guess they are very rare, although pretty shite if you want them for a rider.
