Just got meself some new grips from the usa described as 1st gen ame  ???
Anyone know the model-year etc?

the bubble fount/font is called
anal['cooper black  italic']anal
[more anal]design in the 1920's by oswald cooper[more anal]
people think its a 60's 70's style, especially when used in conjunction with brush script, which also is pre war being from 1942

Just checked out this link.......very interesting. Seen on page 1 the style of Oakley 1 grips, and didn't realise they were dated from 1976. Are they really that old ??? did they make them for many years after that ?

Only reason I ask, is I had some brand new ones which I had from when I restored my quad last year. I just used them because I had them knocking around and they were the right colour for the build.

Are they rare ? and what do you think they'd have been worth before I fitted them ?

I have some of these in the shed (or something very simillar  :-\::)
I will check what they are called at the weekend when i'm on weekend leave from hospital as they still have the sticker model on the box  :daumenhoch:

I hope they are them Snav cos they look the Nuts mate...was never a big fan of ame cam's so if mine are cam's I will probably move em on  :daumenhoch:
