Ammaco Mags / Mongoose

Anybody got any information on the above?

They were similar to Skyways but with a domed shaped alloy hub?

Had a look on vintage mongoose site and it looks like they have a picture but no info. Are they rare? whats the value?

think ammaco mags are acorn mags but with ammaco stamped in them, got a set of both , dont think there that rare or expensive ,i paired £20 posted for a nos acorn mag 4months ago.

Yeah sounds like acorn freestyle mags, flexier than a very flexy thing from flexville

There were two kinds of mags, the freestyle versions that were like tuffs and the original ones that had way thinner spokes. I've got a funny feeling there was a frame too with a platform that looped round like the Skyway bolt on platform did. Can't find any pics of it though. Maybe that's the next holy grail ! Oh ok, maybe not...
