Skyway, Hutch and the like..

So I'm wondering why legendary brands such as Skyway, Hutch etc don't make frames anymore? Especially Skyway which is still a profitable company. Given the interest in the newly issued (old tubing) frames it has to be worth a punt?  The iconic status and pedigree which any new company would give limbs for, is already in place.. Anyone got any theories? I'd buy a new school skyway!

Like Eric Cantona...to protect the legend.

Otherwise you end up like Johnny Barnes... ;D

I hear ya, I guess new school GT's, and Haro's are not really as legendary as they once were (according to the kids..) but if they could just squeeze one skyway out.. :'(

:) A long time out of the frame game for both, they`d have a lot of catching up to do.Sure they`d appeal to some oldies but would have to come up with something special for current riders to buy them.Frame market seems over-saturated as it is...?
