Is this a Standard Trailboss?
« on: June 08, 2010, 05:42 PM »
Basically this is a name the unknown Standard thread? I am guessing it's a Trailboss, or is it a 250L, Lengthy or something else?

The drop outs have been trimmed a little and bored out to 14mm from 10 I guess. The serial number is, I believe L 00 64

Cheers for any help.

TRLS 250, right?

Should it have been like this one in the link below originally? I am assuming the 00 in the serial is year 2000 manufacture right? Finally, do you have the decals for tese or know anyone who does?

Thanks again for your help.

I was offered a Trailboss about a year ago, dude had only ridden it a couple of times decided he didnt like it so swapped over to a differant Standard frame

I thought it was a bit steep at 100 quid, kinda wished i'd at least gone to have a look at it

Thanks for all your help guys. A 250 it is.

It has cut drop outs, cut seat tube and cut off brake mounts and cable guide then welded back on wonky....

As soon as I can afford a can of Nitro morse and some beige and black paint I'll do it up like a trailboss and stick it on my wall.

A Trailboss was one of the frames I considered BITD but never got so this wil have to do.

What I'd really like is a Std Bicycle Motocross now they were cool.

Lovely colour my mate had one like that back in the day, hence why I want one.

I have my old Basic and a T1 Progression, I'd also like a Trailboss, Bicycle Motocross and a King Liberty frame, stem and fork. I'd be a happy man then and have all the bikes I liked from down the trails back then. Keep an eye out if you can lads ::)

Keep the colour on that BMX if you can.  8)

BTW how much does Ricks restoration cost, you can pm if you like.

They are a rare beast for sure, I've been looking for a couple of years without success.
