flatland bike for the summer nights

got me flatland bike built and ready as summer is coming



a dna hopper 2. with freehub and fat pegs



savage headtube



quick rear end. this bike is small, even for me


if anyone else wants to build up a flatland bike i have a set of 4 alloy fat pegs and some 1 1/8" mongoose forks with zero rake and ad lugs going spare

Gra, you bringing that to Bones?? I'd love a go on that! Dont know much flatland but wouldnt mind trying on a proper flatland bike. I like that alot. Rons Up!

ok i will bring it to bones.

yes the bars are wide, i never cut them down

i like to be able to grip the bars and seat to do "side glides"  :-[

its a heavy bike, but it rolls really smoothly

well the wheelbase is around 34" and the head tube angle is very severe

like that chainwheel. got any oldschool pegs?

oldschool as is skinny axle extenders? no. the fat pegs are so nice to stand on!

ah right! still no though.
although they are probably sound, the big alloy pegs are best for flatland. you can get away with a lot on a flatland bike as they look odd anyway. so 2" knurled pegs dont stand out. and they are comfortable to stand on, with a lot less chance of missing your footing

i got another set of pegs similar to the ones pictures that are for sale

they are alloy, and and are about 6" x 2"

heres my KHE Premium Lagger, must get out on it more, its nice to have 4 pegs and 2 brakes and free coaster unlike my ramp bike

i got these to for salekhe unique new was £699
never ridden £375 and ares frame used but good condition £80 :daumenhoch:
