Bought 2 KMC chains and a chainring off this seller with the following description:

2 KMC 'Z' CHAINS (1 GOLD, 1 SILVER) PLENTY OF LENGTH FOR RUNNING 44T - 16T GEARING

When I went to put one on my bike, I found I needed another 5 or 6 links and that was on the longer one!

Unfortunately I had already left good feedback and when I wrote to the guy he said what he meant was between the 2 chains there was plenty of length

....one is gold and the other is silver! he also said I should have asked!!!

anyway, just wanted to get it off my chest, the nob didn't even offer an apology.

He sells lots of stuff on ebay so don't forget to "ask" about any possible fault before bidding.

are you running these on a 20" BMX or a 24" Cruiser

Only standard chain lengths don't usual fit cruisers

It's for a 20" Condor, maybe a little longer in the rear than other bikes but even slammed it's nowhere near! and anyway his excuse was

:"I meant the 2(different colour) chains joined togeather would be plenty for a 44-16"

.
It only cost 8 quid but that's 8 quid handed over to some cockwipe for nothing!
seems a bit futile to bother reporting over but he's taking the pish.
