Copy MX seatclamp advice needed
« on: June 08, 2010, 02:29 PM »
Have bought a couple of the hinged version MX copy seat clamps but they won't tighten enought to stop the seat post twisting

Any ideas? (BTW - I drive a desk for a living so needs to be a "simple" fix  ;D )

Many thanks for any help you can give

My advice is 'read Animals PM'

Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light."

cut up a plastic milk container nice a neet  ;) then place a nice neet strip between frame and clamp , this should make the clamp work better  ;) add move strips as neccessary  :daumenhoch: Or shim the seatpost in the frame using cut up beer can  :D But b careful not 2 slice your fingers on the can as it can b very sharp  :P Just use a good pair of sissors 2 do these jobs  :daumenhoch: simples
