i've got to say this, i have a terrible habbit of replying to a thread and not reading the start

of it properly, i've just read the start again and looked at the pics and there's no way i would have

known how bad the frame had been when i opened the box after delivery, it honestly looked like

it had been like many of the mint frames i get,  think that says more about phils workmanship that it

even had me not knowing the history of how bad it was

This was another one the pair did for me, it was a Hutch Judge frameset and someone had welded rear mount brakes onto it  , also had nasty welding on the forks, so same again Phil said send it down to me and then it was forwarded onto Dan as well.

Miracles performed again by the dream team, lovely stuff. I'll look forward to seeing that come together, got one here I'm slowly cobbling together too, need some inspiration.  What's the plans Marty?

Black and chrome, maybe some really thin race tyres, race lite me thinks whenever i get round to it, prob next year
what about yours?

Mine's chrome, I've got a bunch of red bits (and maybe a hint of blue) so they'll creep in to match headtube logo. It's got the original black decals on frame, it'd be wrong to get rid but I want red.    Could go with black bits but got that combo already on a JMC and a few other bikes rocking chrome / black so after something different and use what's here instead of starting a shopping spree. Black seats, stems,  cables, grips etc etc, a pain in the arse (££) for anything decent.

did someone mention chrome ,red and a hint of blue

I half banged a headset cup in on sunday, not bad progress for 3 months.  I'm planning on having the rest of the headset in by september. 

I'm liking the red/ blue combo, given me a taster without having to get my spanners out, thanks
