END OF AN ERA, LETS SEND IT OFF IN TRUE RAD STYLE
« on: May 16, 2010, 09:37 PM »
Well guys, that little old 4 man track in deepest Kent will be closed for ever soon. The guys have the builders moving to make it a regional standard track.

As most of you know Hersden is only a four man track, but it has seen some of the best old school action ever.
At one meet a couple of years ago, the old school count alone was in its 40s.
It was holding Old school races long before I returned to BMX.
So lets put all our differences aside, everyone who ever raced there should make the effort to make the last one very special.

Can I suggest we give little old Hersden a party it will never forget??
Tony, Justin and Terry work bloody hard down there so lets send em home with a headache >:D

Lets get everyone and anyone down on its last day, even if you dont race anymore, race new school or have never raced there, lets make it rock, and see it off with a massive old school bang.

Sign up here please guys
http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,108723.new.html#new

Also lets hit Herne Bay sea front after the races for chips an a pint.
A long time ago, in a land far away!

6th June.  Nothing on down here that Sunday.  Long way to travel - 330 miles.  Could I??  Should I??  Family conference required methinks.  We were there at the beginning so it would be fitting to be there at the end.  Get back to you.  Humps

I suppose when you have jumped everything by every possible comination it must get really boring  ::)

What a stupid twatish thing to say, but then again it must be boring not being able to jump a double or having no skill. Maybe if all tracks were flat corners, tabletops and rollers things would be sooo much more exciting.

You're a fine one to go talking about twats, Russ-mate coming from a bloke that called himself oldskoolsux on an old skool site.

What a shame we're not all the BMX god you are.

In the 20 years you were out of BMX some of us stuck around and worked our balls off to make it what it became. Welcome back.  ::)

Actually, the new MK project is a little more daring than it's predecessor...

Whoa!

hudu and flemdog

Sorry if my comment offended lads,  Herne Bay track is your baby so you're indignation and need to come in here and lord it over me is somewhat understandable.  It was a muggy thing to say but anyone that knows me knows i am apt to do such things at 4am when i'm full of beer but you don't so you wouldn't.

All tongue and cheek Buddy Bob, I did put an extra lip on that table top just for you though to get your sea legs again and to toughen up that ol' fear factor we all suffer from at times...  ;D

Give them a try again soon buddy, the place rocks now it had some love... :smitten:
