Got hold of one of these babies



A Rebel Contender.

Anyone else riden one of these? seems OK - I was gonna build it as a park only or trails only rider - more or less same size + angles as my 250.
Came to me in this sick(as in s**t, not what the kids say it - meaning good ) two tone green, so I rawed it, only right if its a metal bike



I feel like I should dig my old Black Sabbath & Jimi Hendrix albums out  to celebrate.

reminds me of DP's and sticky dots   ,    as to the contender shurely its got to be black to be true metal  , black everything even the stickers

I love a good Rebel Contender.

Here's mine.    Titanium everywhere! Oh and rust!  Remember to clearcoat yours and bear in mind that it will still rust. Mine had factory clearcoat and started to rust almost immediately.

found this suggestion for the build,   very metal,     scream it in loud metal  voice a la Dio   "CHEEEEEEEEEEEEESEY"

I put a few coats of that clear spray on it, so I'm hoping it won't rust up too soon.

Looks good that.  I'd need a new post for one of those type of seats though, don't know if I can spend any more - wife will  me, hahaha.

I got home after a massive session and it was cracked like that. There was a dent on the down tube and so it failed there. That was well under a year too. However my current one is 3.5 years old or more.

RIP Ronnie James Dio.

Today my heart is broken, Ronnie passed away at 7:45am 16th May. Many, many friends and family were able to say their private good-byes before he peacefully passed away. Ronnie knew how much he was loved by all. We so appreciate the love and support that you have all given us. Please give us a few days of privacy to deal with this terrible loss. Please know he loved you all and his music will live on forever.
