Frame.....opinions? Info?
« on: May 10, 2010, 11:30 AM »
What are your thoughts on this:

http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx'modelID=42364

Nipper has just turned six and wondered about building one of these up for him for christmas.
Can't see any descriptions regarding sizing etc......not sure what year it is even?
Anyone shed any light?

would probably be about a year or so old?  you know it's a mini obviously but as for intense?  well they make damn good stuff!  the design may not be to everyones taste which is probably why they don't seem to sell that well??

Old model but easily worth £69.  Plenty people were more than happy with those frames a few seasons ago.

Cheers chaps.
I'm up for the hunt of getting some finishing kit.  The biggest stumbling block seems to be wheels.
Mini Race wheels seem stupidly expensive, he's not into the idea of racing yet but loves riding tracks, pump tracks, skateparks and just hacking about the street so i'm not convinced about shelling out big ££ on some super light hoops?

:) Try BMXCity (formerly Cyclesport) for rims, spokes and hubs.Service is great, wheelbuilds are second to none.I built a full custom 98 Robinson for my nipper at Christmas using all new parts with a 3 pc crank and custom built wheels for £168 so it can be done for sensible money if you shop around.
