Well, not a frequent poster (or visitor) here. I was just scouting around for some info about where there might be old school BMX events taking place and stumbled on this.

I thought I'd share my bike which has had the tiniest of tiny make-overs. And by that I mean, it got a bit of a clean and polish!

It's an '83 Torker-made Haro Freestyler, almost all original. In fact, it's so long ago that I bought anything for it that I can barely remember the makes/types of the parts. Instead of me doing a parts list, it's probably better for you folk to fill in the gaps, ha ha!

What I do know is this:

- 83 Haro Freestyler Frame/forks, all original, no rechroming or stickering
- Skyway Tuff IIs
- Suntour stem
- Suntour seat clamp
- Tuff neck chainwheel

- Cannot remember brand of seat, seatpost, handlebars, crank
- Tyres obviously new
- Brake levers and pedals are new and shitty (well, by new I mean 10 years old!).
- Gyro obviously not from '83 (not sure what year I put that on!)
But still, this is *not a rebuild*, it's a survivor that's had a little bit of TLC, and nothing more. Is that still valid? Whatever, enjoy (I hope!)

Anyway, back to my original point for being here ...are there any old school BMX events that happen in the UK?
