Sidley woods 2010
« on: May 07, 2010, 06:43 PM »
finally got round to getting some photos of sidley woods after months of hard work getting them back into use.

they've been around since the late 80's if not slightly earlier.

Here are a few photos of the work me and some friends have done, they ride pretty well too

Has anyone got any photos of sidely woods from back in the day?

Just this one, think I've posted it in another thread, but anyway its me riding through the main set in 95ish

Great spot and inspired me to dig alot more, after riding Sidely I built these, starting  the day I got back ¬

My mate tried to flip these, haha, first atempt over a set of doubles, haha - he landed upside down in the back of the landing - lucky it was still soft from us digging it.  I tried a front flip onto some old bed we found near by on a stepup.

Heres me nohandering the stepup I tried to flip, it hurt so much I've never tried again, hahaha¬

By the way, nice one for digging the spade out and sorting it out - don't know if i'll ever be over that way again, but I'd sure visit again if I ever do.  I remeber some lad called Tom knocking out something like supermen to tailwhips on that huge drop double, well good.  The s&m team were down one time too when I was riding it - think it was Josh Stricker, Utah Ryan & Barspinner.  Stricker was knocking out some large turndown through the main line.

and glen, Im down there a few evenings a week, but only for maybe an hour at a time. (I work too hard and am often too knackard to ride much)
