hi
just a quick question on behalf of a mate.
his son has a 16" version of this bike and he wants to fit a 25t chain ring so he can do drop ins at the skate park!
does anyone know what size the crank would be? we have googled and cant find it! also where is best place to get one cheap?

 :) For a 16"bike you`d probably want a 140-150mm crank.Profile do`em otherwise you`ll be looking at flimsy alloy racecranks.Try and make sure you get the correct size gearing,maybe a 28/13 would be suitable?

I've got a 24t profile here, 1 of the teeth is cracked. But my 8 year old has been running it for ages with no problems. PM me if your interested :daumenhoch:

Gearing is a dark art, My son's 18 inch bike came with 25-9 gearing which I thought would be OK. But with the short cranks at 150mm It was hard work. Swapped to 24-9 and he liked it. He is a bit bigger now and wanted a gold theme so has gone to 25-9 and seems OK. Still feels strange to me. I run 30-11 on a 20 inch.
