« on: April 30, 2010, 02:32 PM »
had the day off today and put this together for a rider this summer, i've used a 2005 anniversary f&f as i can't bring myself to ride any of my restored bike  :-[
got a gold stem on its way and some black goose grips to finish her off  :) (excuse the layback but i'm a bit of a lump and need one  )
couple o pics of my remake of my first ride which is now done (cheers spen  :daumenhoch: ) bar a goose headset

My favourite style of Supergoose  :daumenhoch:

Looks good, undecided on the reach of the layback, if you are a lump that's only going to get further back  :D

Sorry it took me so long to spot this one, but top Goosework there Dean. I was actually gonna buy one of those re-issue 2005 bikes for the f&f to save my 1978 Team Mongoose from doing all the work and chuck the rest of the bits, but they were £250 and you can buy a lot of proper o/s 'Goose for that much. Then I missed one on ebay that went for less than a ton :uglystupid2: Luckily I've met Phil Sawzall since then and now I'm not so scared to ride my original....... >:D

Anyway, those are both lush bud. Glad to see the little parcel I sent you helped out bud as they both look ace, but the blue frame & blue bits is a winner for me as I've never seen that done before :smitten:

Just got to get my finger out and finish my latest reincarnation Mongoose ready for Radchester - gutted you're not gonna be there bud :'(
