there was loads of accidents - Tony Twist (daggers rider) managed to break his arm and two ribs and still had to drive home saturday night including mending a puncture on the M5 with one arm... hardcore!!

Billy Stupple took a pretty good tumble in the 45+ A final - but they knew he was ok by the amount of tourettes coming out of his mouth...

Quite a few stretchered off - track is brutal - and with Rain just before the finals the tarmac berms became 'interesting'

Most of us just tried to hang on for most of the time... nationals are hard... and Cheddar is just mental....

Wicked weekend though..... superb location and facilities...

Im bloody knackered got home last night at 11pm

It sounds like the older age groups were well supported for 20 and 24".
For interest, was it just the semi-slick tyres that weren't gripping, or was the track just that slippery for everyone?

I just ride the same speed if its wet or dry, always have, seems to work   :)

I think the guys that looked at the wet berms and then froze as they hit them were the ones who went down, ride loose and ride the slide if need be   :knuppel2:

No changes to the track at all from what i can tell - the berms arent the problem... I think they are great. some of the best moves ive seen ever....

Kye Whytes Run off on saturday night was just an amazing race.... and props to him for acknowledging the move done on him...

lots of calls for track changes on FB and Talk at the moment... as always... we shall see.

and yeah Bofs final was excellent... they all were...

The track is pants.

Downhill = fast.  Couple that with peaky jumps that have no flow and that adds up to people bouncing all over.

Too many kids coming off.  7 and 8 year olds should not come off that much.

Big dubs on third straight are rot.  If you don't jump them you can't really roll or manual them.  it's ungainly and makes good riders look poor.  That can't be good for the sport.

Too much loose surface on the track.  Needs a sweep!

Seriously - I wouldn't let this due tarmac my drive!

That said - I loved it.  My first national.  Cracking time.  Good people.  Great racing.  The best ever.

Shame about all the injuries - and there were LOADS.

Mark Egan broke his arm in practice.  Shaun Issitt broke / sprained his wrist in practice and Levi Ashley shatterred his foot in the race.  And they are just people I know well!

But again - top top weekend.

Bof looked very good!

For fans of the photo = look out for Ash Davey on day two jumping the big dubs on his way to winning Moto 3.  One hander tyre grab!

That boy got style.  team C&K!

Kept seeing the K&C riders all over - except not used to seeing the orange and black on any other riders except BAD...  They've got some very good riders that team...

agree Dex - far far too many injuries and agree I came away feeling like i should jack it all in i was so bad and yes that isnt good for the sport - gave myself a dam good talking to and am now heading to hayes on sunday to break my crash duck...

if you want to see pics some on Tony Twists FB page.  BCF ones to be loaded soon.

I enjoy riding that track, Joey Bradford said its way harder/more technical than any track in the USA!!

I agree the 3rd straight sucks but only for us that dont jump it. I think the jumps on 3rd staright should be left same size but filled in to mellow them into nice shapes for manualling.

Also the double out of turn one needs same treatment.

First staright and last straight are great in my opinion.   :Great_Britain:
