So bikes on the tube are not a problem then?

I have not experience of bikes and London... and am but a simple muggy c**try folk  :crazy2:

Anyone know of any parking near Waterloo... I'm gonna have to drive it all the way.

Trains are too expensive, take too long and don't get me there in time  :knuppel2:

Other info I need as follows :

- Meeting Point is 10am under clock at Waterloo Station... never been  :D is it easy enough to find?
- What time will we get finished up?

catch the tube from High Barnet a few miles of the A1M M25 Junction as parking is cheap as chips and  the tube will take you into the city  :4_17_5:

High Barnet Station, London Underground Ltd., Barnet Hill, Barnet, Herts, EN5 5RP get a travel card and off you go

Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light."

( 2 mins later )

Just had me a little google...

http://www.lcc.org.uk/index.asp?PageID=65

I quote...

"Folded bicycles can be taken free of charge on all sections of the network at all times.

Non-folding bicycles can be taken free of charge on some sections of the network outside peak times. Peak times are 07.30 - 09.30 and 16.00 - 19.00, Monday to Friday, except for public holidays.

In certain cases, as listed, non-folding bicycles may also be taken during rush hour in the opposite direction to the majority of travellers. Please be aware that riders of shit hot lovingly restored old school bmx bikes may take their rides on the tube whenever they fekkin like. If these cyclists are frequent RADBMX users then they can even move old or disabled people who may be blocking the paths of their lovely bikes."

We always park next to the London Eye, As there is 4 of us and 4 bikes it's alot easier than train, Normally costs about a tenner.

Am I right that meter parking in London is free on a Sunday?  Or is it safer bet to find a car park and pay the fee?

Rob... got another rider I think... on a SE cruiser... hope thats OK? its my mate Luke who was at the last Boardroom Night and came to MK... he's just got an ex-demo SE for £99 from someone he knows at Shiner after being totally taken by the ones he saw at MK  :smitten:

Will find out about T asap and get him a Sponsor form.

4 people and 4 bikes means I'm driving to Waterloo... sure I'll find a spot somewhere  :daumenhoch:

I'm driving to Waterloo... sure I'll find a spot somewhere  :daumenhoch:

In the same boat, or rather car, will be driving down but as it's a Skyride will certain places be closed off in London for the cyclists as I recall last years skyride in Leicester, the centre was closed off to traffic.

Will try and get near Waterloo/poss see if an NCP is near by.

Hi peeps, bit late in the day but I'm in and dragging out another rider from BITD who's just dug out his old TA from his loft after 25 years, he's also got a Torker 280x up there.  Didn't know mushroom grips melted after 25 years..will order spares now just in case! :)

Dilema mate...it was brill to ride around on at MK after the initial purchase, but I'm now reluctant to use (carpet queen :(). I could change the tyres, rims, brake pads, pedals, chainring so as not to mark em, but how far do you go. More than likely will ride the Vertigo or thinking of building up the Haro Shredder.

Rob, nice one mate re the parking info :daumenhoch: I could try and cycle from Brum ;D
