right guys was talking to another guy at our southampton branch and he collects mtb.old ones
he mentioned his friend has a trident bmx (prop 24 cruiser )
the guy has had it since new and wants to sell it .hje mentioned the name of the place he raced for a shop and i heard of it before but forgot what it was called by the time i got home (doh).
he also mention his maste said neal wood rode a trident for while he thinks too .
he knows nothing of bmxs but this doesw ring bell to me hes gonna send me pics asap .what the hell are they please as i cant find much on them and dont really remember them either

They made nice bars aswell :daumenhoch: bound to be a pic in an action bike mag somewhere,think I have the frame and bars pic in a mag but cant get it scanned to put up,very nicely made and a cruiser would be rare bud :daumenhoch:

Made by VDC for Hotwheels shop in Bournemouth around 83/84

Very nice indeed  :daumenhoch: (never seen a cruiser but very possible they exist)
Why oh why do I still buy kids bikes!

well done blinky hotwheels thats the shop he mentioned .someone get me some pics up .ill sort pics as soon as he sends me them cant wait  might be my first find in long time lol

do a search on here dude (or it may have been the old site) im sure jj posted some pics up once and also quite sure mr plinks himself bought or sold some bars off here too, im pretty sure they are more or less re stickered star bars, very nicely built as you'd expect from voris before his obvious recent addiction to LSD  :daumenhoch:

been after a Trident for years,missed out on one on e bay by a fiver. Bigplinky 's dead right with what he said.

I have a picture of one in the BMX Annual 1985.


They do look superb, don't think i ever saw one back then though.





One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.

yeah you, go n see it as the drops are pretty recognisable dude, very freeagenty too aint they?

i think the "give away" is the brake bridge,looks identical to a VDC changa.
