Just looking at SID's photo's go me thinking.......when I was a kid there were loads of Pro Star's around.....but you hardly ever seem now.... :-\

How come  ???
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)

must say that when i put some pics of my bikes on facebook a while back two people responded with ' i had a pro star bitd'

Got a PRO STAR Team being built at the moment  8) Got the frame and forks of MR Andy Lincoln about a year or so ago will be going of to DAN for some of his LOVE and then will have some choice parts added  ::)

The A-Series (aka Works/Team) was manufactured by Koizumi for Diamond Back and used the same frame as the Diamond Back TK

The entry level Pro-Star was manufacured by Akisu for Diamond Back and was replcaed by the Viper

I guess it really does depend on condition, partslist, etc

90% complete in need of resto: £175.00 +

Show Pony: £300-£400+ (bit of a wild guess)

Just estimates but you don't see many off them original complete stock

Here's my pony, bought it complete NOS and had the decals/padset reproduced. My first BMX bitd and true love :LolLolLolLol:

As I said when I was a kid there were loads about......and hardly any PK's, Haro's......and now you cannot move for them  ;D

                            i had a team pro star with a diamond in the guset and all DB parts.
                    i had it from new  :4_17_5: 29 year on i fined out its the same frame as 
                    the tk. always wanted a DB back then :uglystupid2:

Here you go, TK but also used for Works Pro-Star (only ever heard of PK Gary who had one with Diamond gussett). :daumenhoch:



Here's the other style gussett, this is NOS original with Pro-Star decals, even the the original advert looks significantly different with a smoke coat and yellow decals.



The original advert also mentions full Cr-Mo, which is isn't (same as Silver Streak), mild steel rear section.
