Shed robbed, bikes gone.
« on: April 07, 2010, 05:49 PM »
Hi guys

Our garden shed was broken into last night, with the loss of 5 bikes, well peeved is an understatement.

My 2007 Floval, now has red Odyssey triple trap pedals and a red and black `san marco' seat

My only just finished Haro Shredder (the one with the coaster brake I rode on Saturday at the boardroom)

and 3 others (non bmx)

We are covered on insurance, but you cant put a value on bikes that have been built with stuff and influences you've had since you were a kid.

They were locked up, in a locked shed, in a locked garden, scrotes..

To add insult to injury, the decals for the shredder came today!

Can't say I have any hope of finding them, but going to western park after dinner to see what I can see.

Cheers

Perhaps we shouldn't be so precise on our "location" on the member's details section.

I seriously doubt that it was a Rad member or guest who took these bikes.  It is the Easter holidays and this sounds like the work of kids to me.  For them to know there were bikes in the shed usually means that they probably live no more than a couple of streets away as happened to Southern Andy.

They won't be too far away so keep looking I say.

Theiving buggars, get the word out among other kids that there is a reward for them.  They deserve a good kicking.

Really sorry to hear this but am glad you have insurance that will cover it.
