3/32 chain will only fit 3/32 sprockets.
1/8 chain will fit either 1/8 or 3/32 sprockets.
Big lumps like me can stretch or break either!

A 3/32 chain won't fit on a Sugino chainring - I know cos I've tried

Takagi, Shimano, Tioga (all the same thing) some Tuf Neck? You'll be able to feel it, just pinch it between your fingers and they'll feel skinnier than a Sugino and Suntour.

Aye Mark.
From what I remember when I used to ride, Sugino, SR etc were generally 1/8, and the Tuf Neck ones were 3/32.
3/32 sprockets and chain were always recommended for racing due to the weight saving of their lower rotating mass.

3/32 " chains wont fit over some freewheels either,shimano ones will fit 3/32" chains
