Well, I had this:

but red is poo, and it is a tad scratched, so into a vat of soda, here is 10 seconds into it:

20 Seconds:

Fish it out and have a looksie:

Couple more seconds for luck:

Rinsed under boiling water and a swift wipe with a Brillo Pad:

Will polish out the scratches and make it bling tomorrow

Oh, for all you caustic virgins, here is what i did:

-Jam jar, 2 table spoons of crystals, add cold water 3/4 to the top and mix it up with a fork.
-Get a baking tray that needs a clean and put the chain ring on in, and tip the caustic soda mix on.
-Cough like fook as you are in the kitchen.
-Tip the whole lot into the sink and tip a boiling kettle over it and then run the taps for a min or 2.
-Done.

Caustic will strip paint, but it has to be made VERY strong and it takes forever.

Nitromors is the nuts for paint

nitromours is pants for powder coating as i have tried for the 5th time to get my gt frame back to bare $:-\$

Wonder if a good old heat gun will do it

yeah, heat is good for Powder Nana.

Glass paper works too, but it is a pain in the arse mate, i hate to say it but with powder, take it to get blasted.

just keep checking should only take a minute or so dont leave them for to long or you will kill them
