Nice one lads
Well happy with it
Thought I'd answer a few Q's etc. and bang a few before and after pics up............
chrome work looks mint
Original survivor chrome that Nath - and yeah it is in pretty good condition
Well done John, how long have you been waiting for that F&F
How many lef to do now.............just the other 25 projects
Aye it took a while to find one Peter
You're not far out on the project count there either mate
....your getting the hang of it now
Don't worry Glen you will too one of these days mate
how the hell did you polish them wheels up.
How the bloody hell did you polish those Motomags so well.........
I can't take full credit for the wheels really
Sam had them polished originally on his supergoose, and I bought them from him and gave them a once over with the autosol and an extra buff on the rim face
Still no Cali specials in your armoury though
Watch this space
Get a pic up of how it arrived mate
If you insist Joff
OK then - this is the picture the seller in the states gave me..........
I used the frame/forks, crank, BB and headset - that's it.
I put aside the bits I can use on future builds and sold the bits I didn't need.
So it got fully stripped down........
Removed the faded tatty decals (which look a lot better in the above pic than they actually were in the flesh)
Assembled all the component parts and gave everything a good clean and polish......
Then on with the decals........
And a quick sample tester of the pads on the frame..........
And finally the finished product...............
