This is the format and schedule for the North Region Club Champs on Sunday 17th October at Preston :
Categories (this years age groups)These age groups have been
calculated on the number of riders competing in the summer series.
Girls- 6&under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15+
Boys- 6& under, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17-29, 30+, 16+ payback.
Cruisers- 16-29, 30-39, 40+
Old School
Novice- Age on the day. Age groups will be determined according to
the number of novices attending. Although their points will not
count, they will receive awards on the day.
Expert riders, including Old School, must show proof of membership of
a north region club if they want their points to count.
We welcome riders from outside the region and those without north
region club membership, but thelr final positions will not be
considered when calculating the clubs' final positions. i.e. north
region club members will be moved up.
4 or more riders will constitute a class. Less than 4 will be merged
with the next class and will count as one category.
Each club's top 10 results will count towards the club's final score.
Each club should appoint a Team Manager.
Race fees: Novice £5, Expert £8, Payback £10. Payback purse will be
announced soon.
Schedule: Registration 9am - 10.30am.
Open practice 9am - 10am.
Gate practce 10am- 11.15am.
Team Managers' meeting 11.15am
Racing at 11.30am.
These times are dependent on weather conditions and rider numbers,
please listen for any announcements.
Summer regional presentation and novice trophies for the day will be
asap after racing finishes, followed by the presentation of the Club
Championship trophy.
