God damn it, every time this event comes up I wish I could go - but young kids, running my own business and never having enough free cash to go on hols always stops me. One day I'll make it to the woodward re union - have a great time Ross, please please take shit loads of video and pics!

- Andy thanks for the photo.  Cool.  I should be in the radbmx team with that effort. Massive height, great style and presentation, high level of difficulty, excellent flow and continuity..       tbh, Ive no idea how anyone clears that box. I do a useless 6" jump and land on the top with hurting wrists. 

It was great fun though. 


Now has anyone mentioned Andy's gorgeous footplants.. I wish I had photos..


Met Dean as well. Jeez he can ride.  Wait until next weekened at the old fools, and he'll be telling you how Blyther said he ripped up the half pipe at woodward ...

The haro guys are doing a demo in Oregon this year, but I don't remember any of them mentioning Germany tho-sorry
That doesn't mean it won't happen. Just means I didn't ask.

Woodward..so

It really is a brilliant  weekend.Everyone is just riding together. and hanging out. I'm completely shit on a bike, but i can still share the ramp taking turns  with Mccoy or Andy Shohara and not feel (too) embarrassed.
Outside Simon Tabron was doing a cheesy trick contest with Cory Nastazio and Oscar Gonzalez, with Dominguez and Joe Johnson watching to see who can do the "best" roll on the back pop out- Hugo style.
Inside Dennis Mccoy  and Eddie Fiola are sharing the 9ft quarter and jump box with 5 year old kids.Blyther is cracking open the beers, Hoffman and Reynolds are watching Eggleston and Wilkerson balsting airs... Everywhere you look, there's something going on.

I was fannying about on the little miniramp when I happened to hear an English accent . Turned out it was Northern Dean. I had no idea he was heading over. Great to meet such a nice lad. He's from carlisle only 30 miles from where I grew up. What a great rider.  Quite funny when He asked Dave Nourie for a shot of his bike. Dave gives him his green master. Dean does a shitey horizontal Nourie on it, hands it back to Dave and says. "good to see I can still do the cheesy tricks"  Dave wasn't so amused.....


Northern Dean on the half pipe. Remember this is a seriously big ramp. Very few even attempt to drop in on this muther, never mind getting anywhere near the coping.
