Wethepeople Avenue Old School Style
« on: March 27, 2010, 02:01 PM »
Thanks to Stodgy this little beauty is my new ride.
(well I hope so, when the rain stops)

Stock 2010 Wethepeople Avenue with a touch of old school. There are some lovely touches on this frame and the matt green is just awesome with the bronze bits.

As soon as all this rain clears I'm gonna try learn to ride it LOL

:)

Love the Amber wall tyres  :4_17_5:
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)

i can't believe it took stodgy so long to shift the other 2 of these.. i had one last october, shoved on a 330 pivotal and an attila seat (big fat and comfy).  I bloody love it..  love the look of the amberwalls but they look a little errr old school fragile (old fashioned tread and a thin wall?) or are appearances deceptive?

tyres are DMR Supermoto - and the sidewalls are the modern kind just like the amber walls on the Odyssey Paths

that's plan General - needs to be ridden in a bit other than around the block doing bunnyhops.

First impressions are that it rides sweet. I like the high BB which is why I wanted it - it's easier to get used to after riding mtbs since the 80's. I'd recommend this bike to anyone with the same concerns about going back to a twenty. I just don't ride bmx enough to get used to 'em.

More after Old Fools tomorrow - wahoo
