R L Osborne inspired!
« on: March 24, 2010, 03:56 PM »
Here it is at last!
My own from new in 1984, Redline 1st gen Prosyler, brought back to life with a lot of inspiration from the bike R L rode.

Me in 1984 with this bike:

Frame & forks as they emerged from the shed!!

Frame, forks & wheels, after lots of TLC:

The inspiration!! :

The result!! :

Beautiful, one of my favoutire bikes is the Prostyler. So cool that its yours from Bitd. Now take a pic of you getting air again like in '84  :daumenhoch:

How did you do it, complete stip, powder & new decals? It didnt look in that bad a condition that needed a full job.

One of my 3 favourite bikes from back in the day.

I guess it's pretty rare to still have your original bike a well.
